Houston – Day 2

Great day!  I met up with my friends from Vancouver and we saw 19  of the 23 aisles of exhibitors’ booths.  Check out the swag from today.  And notice the Studios magazine on the left – it includes a 3-page spread about MY quilt studio!

We also took time to see some of the many fabulous quilts on display.   I took lots of photos on my iPhone, but I will go back and take better ones with the camera.

Here are some shots of an exhibit I’m really pleased to see – Canadian Content, by the Fibre Art Network.  A lot of time and energy went into getting this exhibit to Houston!

This evening we attended the Modern Quilt Guild meet and greet, where we met more quilters, including a few online buddies – it’s always great to meet online friends in person!

Tomorrow – more exhibits, more quilts, more friends.

Fabulous! I can’t imagine the sheer size of the vendors’ hall. Can’t wait to see that Studios magazine in person, how exciting that they featured your studio!
