Today we continued our road trip traveling from Castlegar to Vernon. We enjoyed fabulous scenic views through Slocan, New Denver and Burton, stopping in Nakusp for lunch. Today we drove from Oliver to Castlegar where we attended the opening of the @grandnationalexhibition Textures of Canada at the @kootenaygallery
I was so busy chatting with other artists I neglected to take many photos.

I have 2 quilts in the National Juried Show at Quilt Canada. I can`t show them until after the Awards Ceremony - which will be tonight!
I`ve been notified that I will be receiving an award, so I will be watching with bated breath.
The Awards Ceremony will be shown live from Winnipeg tonight (June 17) at 7:30pm CST on the CQA/ACC Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/canadianquilters
