fortunately I have some that&#8217;s not so dark, and more mottled.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve used it on the right side, and I think it&#8217;s <em>much<\/em> better.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read many times that you should consider using both sides of your fabric.\u00a0 I seldom do that, but in this piece I thought a couple of the fabrics looked too dark, and when I turned them over, the back side was perfect!\u00a0 Can you guess which fabrics I used this way?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.terryaskeartquilts.com\/Studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Terry-Aske_red-bench.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1020 alignright\" alt=\"Terry Aske_red bench\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.terryaskeartquilts.com\/Studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Terry-Aske_red-bench.jpg?resize=199%2C227\" width=\"199\" height=\"227\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.terryaskeartquilts.com\/Studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Terry-Aske_red-bench.jpg?resize=264%2C300&amp;ssl=1 264w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.terryaskeartquilts.com\/Studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Terry-Aske_red-bench.jpg?resize=902%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 902w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.terryaskeartquilts.com\/Studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Terry-Aske_red-bench.jpg?w=1280 1280w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.terryaskeartquilts.com\/Studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Terry-Aske_red-bench.jpg?w=1920 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I started &#8211; and almost finished &#8211; the red bench.\u00a0 I haven&#8217;t attached the seat yet, as I may need to move it up or down slightly, depending on what&#8217;s behind it in the background.\u00a0 I used paper-backed fusible web, but with the outer edges I folded the seam allowance to the back rather than cutting a raw edge.\u00a0 It should give the bench some added dimension.\u00a0 I&#8217;m really happy with how it turned out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Linking up to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Richard &amp;
