The custom dog portrait I started last week is progressing very well.\u00a0 I pinned the full size pattern to my small portable design wall and covered the pattern with parchment paper.\u00a0 As I fuse and cut out each piece, I’m either ironing them to the parchment paper, or pinning them in place.<\/p>\n

Here’s how it looked on the weekend.\u00a0 At this point, I send a photo to my customer by email.\u00a0 Her comment: “He\u2019s beautiful, Terry! \u00a0I love what you\u2019ve done.”<\/p>\n

On Monday, I completed the rest of his ear.\u00a0 (I took the 2 photos at different times of the day – I think the true colors are somewhere between the 2 photos.)<\/p>\n

Now I just have to do his body.\u00a0 Then I’ll fuse all the pieces to the parchment paper, and audition various background options. \u00a0 I think the background will be similar to the light blue in the 1st photo above, but I generally audition a few background options after the subject is completed.<\/p>\n
