My Kona fabric finally arrived in the mail, so I’ve been working on my guild challenge<\/a>.\u00a0 Here’s the Kona Modern print that I received, plus the solids I ordered. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I started with a wonky center square and just added to it without a real plan for the\u00a0finished quilt.\u00a0 Once it was about 25″ square, I looked at a couple of options on my design wall.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u00a0 \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The on-point arrangement just didn’t work for me, so I’m going with the second design.\u00a0 I love using an improv, wonky process, because it goes together so quickly – no precise measuring required!<\/p>\n

I haven’t done much on the tree quilt<\/a>, and it will probably be a couple of weeks before I have anything to show, as I’m off to Houston on Friday for the International Quilt Market<\/a> and Festival.<\/p>\n
