A couple of months ago, Alida from Tweety Loves Quilting<\/a> contacted me to see if I would like to participate in her Fall ‘Art with Fabric’ blog hop.\u00a0 Of course, I immediately said yes!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

The concept is for each participant to create a quilt or fabric project inspired by a non-textile piece of art, such as a painting, a drawing, sculpture, architecture, or even a book, song or poetry.\u00a0 There are 25 participants, and the schedule<\/a> is on Alida’s blog.\u00a0 I’m in the first group, who will blog about our creations on Monday, October 10, 2016.<\/p>\n

I’m just going to show you a couple of peeks at my project – my very messy worktable and a portion of the background of my quilt.\u00a0 You’ll have to wait until October 10th to see the entire quilt, and learn about my inspiration.<\/p>\n
